Friends

My friend Angie took these pictures while she was watching Alta for me a few weeks ago. They crack me up.

Alta loves her friends. She talks about them all the time and gets so excited when she gets to play with them. If we are going to someone's house to play, I can't tell her until about 5 minutes before we leave. Otherwise, she will refuse to eat breakfast or get dressed because she can't wait to leave.

Alta always includes her friends when she says her prayers at night too. I taught her to say "we're thankful for our friends". This turned into "thank you friends, thank you Sam, thank you Titan, thank you baby Lucy, thank you Sam, thank you Titan, thank you baby Lucy...". I have to give her something else to say so we can get on with the prayer.

Sometimes Alta even asks me to take her to a friend's house and leave her there. It goes something like this: "Aidan's house? Bye-bye Mommy! Mommy go to the doctor? Bye-bye!".

It's so fun to watch her interact with kids and learn new things. What a cutie!
