birthday girls

I just put some pictures on my computer that were taken when we first moved here, so I'm a little late with these next couple of posts. And a lot of these pictures have been posted on Lorna's blog already. oh well.
Alta turned 3 right before we left Manssas and Ellie turned 1 a couple days after we got to Utah, so we had a little joint party for them.

We've got to combine their birthdays while they still don't know what's going on! They even shared their (makeshift) candles:
