We got up in the morning and packed up everything to head to the airport. The hostel owner served us the strangest breakfast: a big delicious slice of pineapple...and a ketchup, mustard, ham and lettuce sandwich.

We all skipped the sandwiches and grabbed snacks at the market instead. Then we took a taxi to the airport. Then it was on to L.A.!

By then I was so happy to be back in the U.S.A. and so close to home. As amazing as most of the food was while we were in Panama, the last crappy meals we had made us crave some real American food. Did you know you can take the parking shuttle at LAX straight to an In-n-out? Because you can:
