Panama - day 5

Saturday morning was the first day we had nothing planned for the morning, but it was too light to sleep in so I got Dan up and we went on a walk around the island.

I don't have any pictures of the little restaurant at our b&b, but it was outside with a roof for shade and a view of one of the beaches. It was really nice to eat every morning and sit around for a while. There were a lot of birds and the hotel's pet deer:

We eventually got ready to go out to our private island again. We picked up some lunch to-go and met up with our boat driver. It was another afternoon filled with spearfishing and reading on the beach for us girls.

Taking a break from diving to eat

I brought my binoculars this day too and walked around the island looking for birds. I added a few new ones to my list.

Eric caught another big load of fish, and Kevin caught a few too. (Dan didn't catch anything else the rest of the trip, but still had fun going out and trying every day. He saw a lot of stingrays, some sea turtles, and tons of fish, he even accidentally speared a moray eel. Yuck.)

That night we met up with Eric again at the same restaurant to eat one of the red snappers.

It was another late night with good food.
