As soon as we got out of the car, Alta wanted to walk in the snow. Whenever she sees snow, she refuses to walk on the pavement and has to walk in it. She never seems to get cold, either!

Part 3
While we were in Utah, we took a short day trip down to visit my grandparents in Holden. It's a really small town in central Utah. I hadn't been there for years, and Dan has never been down there. I have so many memories of going to Holden in the summers and seeing all my extended family, we always had so much fun! It was good to go back, and hardly anything has changed.
As soon as we got out of the car, Alta wanted to walk in the snow. Whenever she sees snow, she refuses to walk on the pavement and has to walk in it. She never seems to get cold, either!
My grandma has a little rocking chair that was hers when she was a little girl, and Alta loved it. She kept saying, "seat, seat!" and would sit in it and try to rock.
Since there was still snow on the roads, my grandma suggested that we get the 4-wheeler out and try to pull Alta on a sled. Dan needed little convincing. Alta was absolutely terrified of the noise, so she just sat on Dan's lap and took a ride (and screamed).
She was much happier when she got back to mommy.
We pulled her around in the yard for a bit instead.
We're glad we made it down to Holden and Alta could see her great-grandparents!

I'm glad you guys had such a nice trip. Ah, 4-wheelers. Give Alta a couple years and you won't be able to to pry her off of one.
