California: The Outings

After Dan flew back home, the girls and I split our time between Jamie's and Alisa's houses. We stayed busy playing in the yard, going to the pool, and taking a couple little day trips around Orange County.

Jamie took us to the San Juan Capistrano Mission (built in the 1700s).

On another day we went to a petting zoo with Jamie, Alisa, their kids and my mom.

Alta told me she wanted to hold a guinea pig but quickly changed her mind. Do you see Ellie in the corner? It kind of looks like she's eating something. Because she was. While I was busy trying to convince Alta to hold the guinea pig, Ellie found a chewed up carrot hidden in the poop-infested straw and ATE it. Sick.

The longest train ride ever. The kids loved it though!
